Pray for Haiti

God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear though the earth gives way… Psalm 46:1-2a

Thank you for your prayers on behalf of the children and youth, families, churches and the national office staff in this difficult time. We believe in the power of prayer and God’s people joining together to lift up our brothers and sisters across Haiti. Please pray for:

• the restoration of security throughout the country of Haiti
• the protection of participants and their families living in areas affected by insecurity and violence
• the protection of pastors, staff, social workers, volunteers and their families while they are still ministering to children in these hard circumstances
• the protection of all Compassion Haiti staff who are living and working in hostile areas
• participants and their families who have been displaced by the unrest
• health and protection against cholera and other illnesses
