Praise God for celebrations in Ghana

Compassion Ghana gives thanks for the celebrations they held on International Day of the African Child.

More than 2,000 children gathered for the event at Kwame Nkrumah University where the festivities included cultural dance performances, poetry recitals and talent competitions.

The theme of this year was the “rights of children with disabilities” and our duty to “protect, respect promote and fulfil”. Wellington Agbovi from Compassion Ghana explained, “children’s rights must be respected and they need to be provided with the same opportunities to develop their talent.”
