Keep praying for a family affected by the Ecuador earthquake

Pray for Dastin Gracia and his parents as they continue to recover after the 2016 Ecuador earthquake. Though no one was hurt, their house, property and possessions were destroyed.

Give thanks that Compassion was able to help with their immediate needs and give Dastin’s father resources to fix his motor-tricycle as a means to support the family. Dastin’s father had been quite resistant to Dastin attending the Compassion project – praise God that he now supports Dastin attending school and project activities.

“Thanks to you, my children and I have a place to sleep,” says Miguel, almost in tears. “Thanks to the project, we already have a roof. I do not know how to repay them, but my heart [is thankful] because without this roof, we would still be in El Salto under the public tent.”

Please continue to pray for Miguel, Dastin and the whole family as they continue to rebuild their lives.
