Lucas is a sponsored child from Brazil. In his teens he was drawn into drugs and gang violence. Through continual prayer and perseverance from his Compassion project staff, he has returned to the project and is now in college.
His project director Solange says, “Lucas has been a teenager that makes us reflect how much our work is worth. Lucas is an example of overcoming within a community with a high level of violence.”
Praise God for working in Lucas’ life. Pray that Lucas continues to grow and mature into a man after God’s own heart.
