Will they still attend the local church?

It is possible that the young person you have sponsored will continue to attend their local church which runs the Compassion project. Many will serve the project and support the younger children through the programme, others will choose to remain involved in other church activities, Sunday services or different meetings. Why not read back through their letters and see what activities they have mentioned – choir, band, children’s work? Such comments will be your best indication of whether or not they will continue attending church.

We celebrate that many Compassion graduates choose to remain in their home towns and villages and serve the communities they grew up in. If they do not move away, it is highly likely that they will continue to attend their local church.
