Why did the project have to close?

Compassion work hard to avoid any project closing. Where it’s no longer possible to maintain partnership with a local church we look to find another fellowship in the area who will be willing to open a new project to maintain the support for the children. Only in extreme situations when all other options have been tested, will Compassion close once project without providing an alternative for the children.
