Will they still attend the local church?

It is possible that the young person you have sponsored will continue to attend their local church which runs the Compassion project. Especially if other family members go with them to church, the safety issues which prevent them participating in the project activities may be not be a concern.

Why not read back through their letters and see what activities they have mentioned – choir, band, children’s work? Such comments will be your best indication of whether or not they will continue attending church.
