Events

Every year, Compassion UK is represented at hundreds of Christian events across the UK and Ireland.

Here are a few events that we'll be at over the next few months. Please let us know if you are interested in volunteering. If you can spare a few hours, a day or even an entire week to man a Compassion stand at an event, we'd love to hear from you.

  • 10 - 15 April: Minehead Week 3

Church Actually - God's brilliant idea

Spring Harvest will answer some of the big questions that get asked about the Church by exploring four of the pictures used in the New Testament to describe it – the People of God, the Community of the Spirit, the Body of Christ and the Bride of Christ. They will be looking at the mission of the Church in our culture and our calling as God’s people.

Each day, they will look at a ‘brilliant idea’ involved in God’s founding of the church. For more information, visit the Spring Harvest website or download the brochure.

Alive Festival

5 - 7 May 2012

The Alive festival's vision is to encourage Christians of all ages from East Anglia and beyond to be renewed by the work of the Holy Spirit and to engage with mission in our local communities and networks.

Over three days of ‘festival’ rather than conference, join alongside others who are passionate to know and serve God. Alive seeks to recapture God’s mission and see our nation come alive through the love of Jesus.

This year's three-day-event is entitled ‘Equipped’ and an exciting programme is emerging, with a range of national and regional speakers who are getting ready to equip you with God’s Kingdom values.

The Alive Festival is a time to encounter the holiness of God, meet others from across the region and be encouraged by stories of God working in local churches and communities. Bookings completed before 31st January 2012 are entitled to an ‘early-bird’ discount.
