Yes. Children and young people registered with Compassion receive a Christmas gift. Donations to the Compassion Christmas Appeal help make this possible.
All donations are pooled so that local church partners and project staff can provide gifts for children within Compassion projects. Because gifts are chosen locally, staff can select presents that are appropriate to each child's needs and circumstances.
It may be a practical item such as new shoes, warm clothing, bedding or school supplies or a much longed-for toy. Whatever the gift, it's chosen with care to bring joy and provide meaningful support to the child and their family.
