I’ve received a message about the child I sponsor from someone on Facebook. What should I do?

If you’ve been contacted by the child you sponsor or someone claiming to know them via social media, please let us know as soon as possible. We’ll then contact the country office where they live to investigate further.

Please don’t respond to the message; simply continue communicating with them through the normal Compassion letter-writing process. We want to do all we can to protect our sponsors and children, so we manage all correspondence on your behalf and will investigate any concerns you have about social media.
