Compassion Partners with Big Church Festival this Summer

We’re thrilled to be partnering with Big Church Festival this August! 

Planning is well underway for a joyful, faith-filled celebration of all God is doing through his Church. 

From 22–24 August 2025, Wiston House in Steyning, East Sussex, will come alive with powerful worship and inspiring ministry from Phil Wickham, Brandon Lake, Philippa Hanna, Martin Smith, and more. , to help with arrival and departure. We’ll prioritise those available for the full event as it’s easier to coordinate, but we welcome all applications—so get in touch!

We’re prayerfully reviewing every application. Soon, successful volunteers will receive a personal invitation to join the Compassion Connect Hub, where you’ll be able to:

Uniting the Church  

Big Church Festival brings the Church together in one voice—and that’s something we’re deeply passionate about. At Compassion, we love the local Church and believe in its power to change lives. 

Today, we partner with more than 8,900 local churches in 29 countries so that together, we move with compassion to release children from poverty into life in all its fulness through Jesus Christ.  

This year, Big Church Festival is uniting around a shared mission: to support children living in Ghana’s Savannah Region. Right now, our partners in Ghana are helping children access education, healthcare, and the life-changing message that they matter to Jesus.  

Across the world, more than 2 million children are being reached—and we can’t wait to see that number grow with your help this summer. 

A team from Big Church will travel to Ghana later this year to see the impact in person. Look out for live stories and updates straight from the festival!

You don’t need to wait until August to be part of this movement. Here at Compassion, we follow Christ’s lead and look beyond poverty to the God-given potential in every child and family. You can make a difference today by

• Giving to support new projects in the Savannah Region
