Pray for the 140 million orphaned

Pray for the 140 million orphaned

Take a moment today to pray for children and young people who have lost one or both of their parents.

At the age of three Diana’s father was killed after being mistaken for a thief. Tragically, only three years later, Diana’s mother was murdered in front of her.

Diana is one of 140 million children globally who have lost at least one parent. She’s one of 15.1 million who have lost both.*

Join us in praying for this courageous young woman. Cry out with us on behalf of the 140 million.

Father, please grant Diana peace following the tragedy she’s witnessed and experienced. Continue to provide for her and bless her in her aunt’s home.

Lord we pray for your provision for the 140 million. Provide those who have been orphaned with your comfort and your perfect peace. Give children safe shelter and surround them with loving caregivers.

“Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.” James 1:27 (NIV)
