Tropical Storm Pabuk: Please Pray With Us

Tropical Storm Pabuk: Please Pray With Us

Please join us in praying for all those impacted by Tropical Storm Pabuk in Thailand. Rain, wind and surging seawater has buffeted coastal villages and tourist resorts on southern Thailand’s east coast in what is expected to be the worst storm to hit the region in 30 years.

The storm made landfall at 12:45 local time (05:45 GMT), sending trees crashing down into houses in the province of Nakhon Si Thammarat.

Before Tropical Storm Pabuk, more than 6,100 people were evacuated from their homes in four provinces, according to the department of disaster prevention and mitigation.

Our Thailand church partners have confirmed that no Compassion projects or supported children have been affected.
