After much prayer, planning and research, Compassion is opening projects in two more countries – Malawi and Myanmar.
Initially, the programmes in both countries will focus on care for mothers and babies. While it’ll take time before children in these countries can be sponsored, we’re committed to working with church partners in Malawi and Myanmar to see children break free from extreme poverty.
We’re joining God where He already is. Our projects in Malawi and Myanmar might be new, but the local churches partnering with us are already pillars of their communities. They’ve been serving their communities for generations: sharing the Gospel, building them up, and caring for vulnerable children.
These new country partnerships will extend the reach and capacity of local churches, enabling them to help children thrive.
