Spring Harvest Partnership
We are really excited about our ongoing partnership with Spring Harvest. We support each other's mission and believe that they are linked in many ways. We hope for the people of God to strengthen their faith at Spring Harvest and then turn that faith into action by sponsoring a child with Compassion!
At the 2011 conference, Compassion was able to have a strong presence and to give guests a fresh perspective on some of the 2,000 verses of Scripture directly related to poverty, as well as teaching about our Christian responsibility towards the poor. We are so grateful for this opportunity which resulted in 1,465 children being sponsored. Thank you, Spring Harvest!

"Spring Harvest has taken a lead in inspiring Christians to put their faith into action for decades. Compassion is delighted to be assisting guests at this year’s Spring Harvest to do just that – put God’s love into action by helping some of the world’s poorest and most vulnerable children. We are looking forward to seeing thousands of lives transformed both in the developing world and right here in the UK."
Wendy Beech-Ward, Director of Spring Harvest...
“We're thrilled to be working in partnership with Compassion. Over the years we've seen the work they have fulfilled in the area of social justice, especially their work with deprived children. As we look at how the Bible impacts our lives, it feels right to cement our partnership, not just to preach it but to put it into action. We hope that together we can make a real difference in reaching people with God’s word – both spiritually and physically.”
This photo is of our staff at Spring Harvest in 2011. The blue inflatable elephant could mean only one thing: we were reminding guests that eliminating extreme poverty is like eating an elephant – to be done one bite at a time.
