Pray for our Muskathletes

Pray for our Muskathletes

Today, 22 Compassion supporters from the UK are undertaking the adventure of a lifetime running, trekking or cycling in Uganda to raise funds for children in poverty.

  • Please pray for safety and protection for the group as they push themselves to their physical limits. Each group member is taking part in a half marathon, marathon, ultra-marathon, 60 kilometre trek or 120 kilometre cycle. The route runs around Lake Bunyonyi and sits at almost 2,000 metres above sea level. In May, temperatures in Uganda can reach up to 30°C.
  • Pray for the athletes as they meet their sponsored children.
  • Ask God to bless the lives that will be changed as a result of the trip. The Uganda muskathletes are raising money to build five classrooms at a Compassion project in south-west Uganda, as well as finding sponsors for waiting children.
