Lift Up the Hopes and Dreams of 3 Children Who Need Your Prayers Today

Take a moment to pray for Emilda, Julius and Brisa, three children who are working hard to achieve their hopes and dreams.

Thanks to the support of their sponsor and church-driven Compassion project, children like Emilda, Julius and Brisa receive the life-affirming words they need to achieve the plans God has for them.

• Join us in giving thanks and praise for Emilda who won bronze in the 800m and silver in the 1500m during a recent national athletics tournament in the Philippines. In August she’ll compete in an international competition, hosted in her home country. Take a moment to lift this young girl up in prayer as she trains for these next races.
• Brisa from Peru asks for your prayers as she prepares to apply for university. Pray for wisdom for her as she studies and for God’s provision.
• Pray for Julius in Uganda. Our church partners praise God he is about to graduate secondary school having struggled with school attendance. We give thanks that he is back studying after receiving encouragement and support from his Compassion project.

Heavenly Father, we lift Emilda, Julius and Brisa up to you. We thank you for these amazing young people, for the talents you’ve placed inside of them and the awesome plans you have for them. We thank you for the people you’ve placed around them, for their sponsors, project staff and volunteers, for the time they invest and for their love and encouragement. Amen.
