Our Partnership Teams help fosters relationships with key existing and prospective church partners and is committed to growing the number of children in developing countries who benefit from Compassion’s ministry.

About the role

As a Call Support Specialist you’ll work alongside the Regional Team to maintain and grow relationships with our existing and potential new Church Partners. You’ll enjoy connecting with church leaders on the telephone and working with colleagues to ensure the successful booking of meetings and speaking events. With your confident phone manner, excellent administrative skills and natural ability to connect with people, you will be looking to increase our engagement with church partners and ultimately seeing more children released from poverty in Jesus’ name.


• Actively maintain and promote Compassion UK’s Christian ethos and values;
• Identify and agree opportunities for further church partnership engagement;
• Initiate outbound calls to current church partners and successfully confirm new speaking opportunities and meetings with Partnership team;
• Work in collaboration with the wider Partnerships Support team to ensure systems are updated and effective internal communication is maintained.

About you

To flourish in this role, you’ll need:
• Experience in a sales/customer service-related discipline with a confident approach to connect with people in leadership roles;
• Experience in proactive outbound calling role driven by goals and targets set for you to reach and eagerly desiring to go above and beyond to accomplish outcomes with excellence;
• Core office/administrative skills. You must be fluent in English and competent in written and numerical work, with experience of basic office systems such as Microsoft Office;
• Understanding of how UK churches operate and the different denominations.

It would help (but isn’t essential) to have:
• Experience of using a CRM solution.

The role requires a personal commitment to the Christian faith and a deep connection to Compassion’s ministry to children and alignment with CUK’s cultural attributes.

Benefits and Location
This is a permanent part-time, home-based role working 14 hours per week over a flexible working pattern Monday to Friday between 9.00-17.00. N.B. This role may require the occasional working of extended/flexible hours.
