Business Analyst

The Business Analyst sits within the IT department and is part of an ambitious initiative to offer quality service to the business with continuous improvement whilst supporting the strategic objectives of the IT Team.

About the role 

Working across the project lifecycle, this role will work alongside business units, IT colleagues and third-party providers in a highly collaborative and delivery focused environment to ensure the implementation of well executed successful projects supporting the delivery of IT enabled business change across the organisation.

    Engage and communicate with stakeholders to identify needs and evaluate alternative solutions;
  • Develop requirements, specifications and recommendations to proposed business solutions;
  • Maintain Customer Service excellence.

About you

To flourish in this role, you’ll need to have a BSc in Computer Science OR Professional Business Analyst Certification e.g. ISEB and experience of the following:

  • Object Oriented methods & UML;
  • Working on all stages of project life cycle;
  • System configuration and SQL skill set;
  • Data manipulation;
  • CRM work experience;
  • Office administration, competent in written and numerical work and fluent in English;
  • Great communication skills and excellent customer service.

It would help (but isn’t essential) to have:

  • Systems analysis and design experience.

This is a permanent full-time role, office-based in new, modern ‘agile’ office in Fleet, Hampshire, just a 15-minute walk from Fleet station. Working hours: 35 hours per week Monday – Friday.
