Compassion UK are looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist with recognised industry qualifications to work as part of the HR team overseeing the full-cycle recruitment of skilled individuals that will help to further our work.

Location:
Office-based at Compassion House, Fleet, Hampshire
With great flexibility for home working

Hours:
Full-Time: 35 hours (5 days) per week from
Monday – Friday 9.00- 17.00.

Salary:
£28,520 pa (within the grade £28,520 - £34,510 pa)

About the role

As the Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will work collaboratively to support the acquisition of people with the skills and attributes needed to uphold CUK’s Christian ethos and culture; and accomplish its mission to release children from poverty in Jesus’ name.

Responsibilities

  • Actively maintain and promote CUKs Christian ethos and values
  • Right people in the right place at the right time to meet CUK’s outcomes
  • A positive candidate journey
  • Effective reporting on recruitment

About you

To flourish in this role, you’ll need:

  • Internal recruiter experience
  • Knowledge of UK/EU recruitment legislation. 
  • A recognised recruitment industry or human resources related qualification (for example, CIPD, MIRP)
  • Sourcing candidates experience. 
  • Interviewing skills. 
  • Excellent communication skills

It would help (but isn’t essential) to have:

  • Experience building employee branding. 
  • Experience building and implementing innovative overarching recruitment strategies.

  • Personally committed to the Christian faith. There’s an occupational requirement for the holder of this role to be a practising Christian, in order to promote Compassion’s ethos and help others to experience, explore and express the faith-based motivation of our work.   • Deeply connected to Compassion’s ministry to children.
  • Aligned to Compassion UK’s cultural attributes.
  • Creative, innovative and flexible.

Location & Benefits

This is an office-based role ( with great flexibility for home working) in our modern, ‘agile’ office with free parking, just a 15-minute walk from Fleet station.

Benefits include enhanced pension scheme with 10% employer contribution, equivalent of 5 normal working weeks' annual leave a year, plus normal bank holidays, Income Protection & Group Life cover on appointment and Private Medical & Dental cover on successful completion of probation.
