Do you have experience delivering multiple projects of varying complexity using AGILE Scrum methodology within an organisation’s framework? Are you looking for an opportunity to combine your skills with your passion to see children released from poverty in Jesus’ name?
Compassion UK is recruiting for a Scrum Master to join our Project Management Team on a fixed term basis. You’ll use your extensive knowledge and expertise to help deliver benefits for the organisation in front end applications that improve the digital journeys of our supporters, as well as looking at implementing new products.
Working with a mixed team of external developers and in-house specialists, a key role will be championing good practice in AGILE principles from discovery through to release: through team building, supporting and coaching individuals (including those who are new to AGILE) and improving our in-house guides.

As a Scrum Master, you will champion good project delivery at CUK in a way that is effective, collaborative, passionate, joyful, innovative and grace-filled and models our cultural values. Using AGILE Scrum methodology, you will use your knowledge and expertise of the AGILE principles to help deliver benefits for the organisation and to play your part in the release of children from poverty in Jesus’ name.
Within this role you will be working on the development of multiple systems. IT/digital projects will include; front end supporter facing projects through web and app platforms, as well as back-end solutions, this will support our people in delivering their goals through delivering an infrastructure that is frictionless and adds value. Our delivery team includes those who work at CUK as well as external partners.
As part of a team, you will help to deliver IT/digital projects effectively and continuously improve through servant leadership by: clearing obstacles to delivery; establishing a productive work environment; agreeing realistic commitments and identifying risks, dependencies and issues to ensure resolution. You will also champion AGILE working through coaching/mentoring the team, including new product owners, ensuring they live agile values and principles and follow agreed processes and practices.

This is an office-based role in our modern, ‘agile’ office with free parking, just a 15-minute walk from Fleet station.
