Compassion UK is recruiting a Project Manager to join our Project Management Team. Using a range of project management methodologies, you’ll use your extensive knowledge and expertise to help deliver benefits for the organisation, through clearing obstacles to delivery; establishing a productive work environment; agreeing realistic commitments and identifying risks, dependencies and issues, ensuring resolution.

Location:
Office-based at Compassion House, Fleet, Hampshire with great flexibility for home working.
As a guide, we'd normally expect the role holder to attend meetings in the office on average four times a month.

Hours:
Permanent: 35 core hours per week, work between Monday to Friday, within the hours 09:00 – 17:00

Salary:
£35,000 (within the grade £35,000 - £41,200)

About the role

As a project manager you will champion good project delivery at CUK in a way that is effective, collaborative, passionate, joyful, innovative and grace-filled and models our cultural values. Using a range of project management methodologies, you will use your knowledge and expertise of project management to help deliver benefits for the organisation and to play your part in the release of children from poverty in Jesus’ name through clearing obstacles to delivery; establishing a productive work environment; agreeing realistic commitments and identifying risks, dependencies and issues, ensuring resolution. As part of the role you will receive training and support from the project management team and a clear roadmap for your development.

About you

To flourish in this role, you’ll need:

  • Project Management Experience. 
  • Project Reporting Experience. 
  • Facilitation and People Skills. 
  • GCSEs in English and Mathematics, or equivalent.
  • Office Administration Experience. 

It would help (but isn’t essential) to have:

  • Project Management Qualifications.
  • IT Project Management Delivery
  • Compliance Legislation
  • Budget and Procurement Experience

Location & Benefits

This is an office-based role in our modern, ‘agile’ office with free parking, just a 15-minute walk from Fleet station - with great flexibility for home working.
As a guide, we'd normally expect the role holder to attend meetings in the office on average four times a month.
