Do you have experience in fundraising and are looking to use your skills to help an organisation achieve its long-term goals? Are you passionate about the ministry of Compassion and seeing children released from poverty in Jesus’ name?
Compassion UK is looking to recruit a Philanthropy Officer to play an integral part in shaping the future of a key area of fundraising at Compassion UK. This role will help to ensure that we serve our supporters and internal stakeholders with excellence as we seek to achieve our strategic goal of seeing 200,000 children released from poverty.
At the heart of Compassion’s ministry is a relentless passion to act on our faith and empower every child left vulnerable by poverty. Our work is Christ centred, child focused, and church based.

Through your engagement of these supporters, you will also cultivate a pipeline of future major donors. In so doing, you will enable Compassion UK to release even more children from poverty in Jesus’ name.
The role will be focused on (but not limited to) engaging donors in the South, South East and East of England and you must be prepared to travel to meet with donors in those areas, and even travel more widely where the opportunity arises, to secure new gifts for Compassion UK.
