Church Partnership Options
We know that each church is unique, which is why we want to work together to build a partnership that fits into the vision and mission of your church. We have identified three Church Partnership options, each of which can be tailored further, allowing you to build a Partnership that works best for your church.
Your Compassion Church Partnership will help you to see God at work. The more you invest, the more transformational it will become.
Option 1 - Church to Children
Teach your church about God's heart for the poor by taking part in some of the exciting and inspiring events that Compassion holds during the year. As they become personally involved in world issues, you will see your church grow in a common focus and purpose.
You could:
Option 2 - Church to Community
Choose a country and focus your support on a specific community or region, allowing your church to build relationships while actively and prayerfully supporting a known and named community.
You could:
Option 3 - Church to Church
Enable your congregation to focus their support on a specific country and community, while building a deep and lasting relationship between your church and the church or churches you support. Together you will see children released from poverty and a church in the developing world raised up through your support and prayer.
You could:
- Sponsor children from the community through the Child Sponsorship Programme
- Support a Child Survival Programme in the community
- Provide prayer and encouragement for the leadership of the church through direct communication
- Go on short term mission trips to visit and support the church and community*
* All trips are subject to availability in the field country and individual sponsors must have been supporting the children for a minimum of 12 months before a trip can take place.
