29 AUGUST- 5 SEPTEMBER - FOCUS ON RWANDA

According to UNICEF, neonatal deaths in Rwanda are still high at 37 deaths per 1,000 live births.

One of the leading causes is premature birth. With access to good prenatal care and education, some of these deaths could be prevented.

Praise God for Compassion’s Child Survival Programme (CSP), which cares for children and mums during pregnancy and through to their most vulnerable first years of life.

Please pray for the pregnant mothers who are part of CSP. Pray that they will trust the healthcare professionals and learn how to look after themselves and their babies well.

Please pray for the mothers who are grieving for children who have died. Pray for God’s comfort, peace, healing and hope.
