Compassion Christmas Fund 2008

Surviving without food for a day is one thing. But imagine struggling to survive day in, day out with no idea of when or where your next meal is coming from?

This is the plight affecting thousands of children and their families in our extended Compassion family. Every day we are receiving heart-breaking reports from Compassion projects of how the global food crisis is sweeping like a ‘silent tsunami’ across the developing world.

You can help fight this crisis by donating to the Global Food Crisis Fund.

If you are currently paying your sponsorship by Direct Debit you can make a donation by completing the form below. If you do not have a Direct Debit with Compassion and would like to make a donation please call us on 0845 0581 070.

Working through our trustworthy partners in local churches in developing countries, Compassion staff are buying food on the local market to support the children in our projects who are most in need. This approach to providing food aid helps to stimulate the local economy and reduces the threat of further rampant inflation.
