Each year, thousands of students graduate from Compassion’s sponsorship programmes. Many of them have the ability to become outstanding leaders, but do not have the financial capability to go on to study further.

Compassion’s Leadership Development Programme takes exceptional students and helps them to become skilled leaders in their chosen profession.

They are provided with a university education in their preferred field, participate in discipleship and leadership training activities and are encouraged to take on roles of responsibility within their local churches. In addition, each student will have a Christian mentor to provide guidance and encouragement during their studies.

Among the graduates of Compassion’s Leadership Development Programme are lawyers, doctors, engineers, businessmen and pastors.

Your church could support one or more Leadership Development Students and directly help these young men and women to become change-agents in their countries.
